Ramsey Rural Museum

The museum specialises in the farming, agricultural, social history, trades and working life of Ramsey and the surrounding area of Cambridgeshire, concentrating on the period 1800 to 2000 AD.

The main collection comprises over 4000 objects, artefacts and items of farm machinery, complemented by thousands of archives, maps, documents and photographs. These are housed in restored 17th century farm estate buildings and more modern additions – such as a 1930s fenland farm cottage.

Tea room, toilets, book shop. The museum is available for private hire.

Open April-October.

Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays 2.00-5.00pm and other times by appointment.

Free parking and free admission except for special events.
