Open Sundays and Bank Holidays, April-October, this one acre kitchen garden was completely overgrown when it was rediscovered in 1996. It has been lovingly revived by dedicated volunteers and was officially opened in 2010. It now features an attractive Victorian style glasshouse, apple tunnel, fruit and vegetable beds and a herb garden, along with colourful flowing borders. Interpretation boards relate the history of the garden, which is also an exceptional venue for organised courses, group bookings or special occasions.
